Annual Ditch Cleaning

We started about 3 miles up from the Farm to clear the irrigation ditch from the Weber River down. Almost got to use my chain saw. We didn’t see any beavers, but we sure saw a lot of damage they caused. Water starts to flow this week. We had a good snowy winter this year so we expect a lot of water for our needs. Our irrigation from the ditch to the pond to the fields was more than we needed last year. Water and farming risk, right?
